Angel Tree through November 27

The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is a meaningful, fun, and caring way to share the joy of Christmas by providing gifts for local families who need assistance.

Choose a tag, shop for the gifts listed, and then return the items (unwrapped) with the corresponding Angel Tag by Sunday, November 27. Please include gift receipts if possible, especially for clothing items.

Ideally each child should receive 2 items of clothing and 2 nice toys. The tags are meant as a guide for the shopper, in order to know the first name, age, and gender of the child along with his/her clothing sizes and type of toy he/she might enjoy. You are free to purchase as your heart and budget lead you.

If you do not want to choose and complete the items listed on a tag there are still ways that you can participate:

  • Purchase clothing or toys of your choice and mark them for general use.  These items will be used to complete or supplement the Angel Tag children’s gift lists.
  • Request a personal shopper if you want to choose a tag but do not feel comfortable doing the shopping.  Contact Janet Hitzeman (812-345-0882) if you want to participate in this way or if you have any other questions.

Feel free to contact one of the Pastors if you or members of your family have a need not covered by this program.
