Angel Tree through December 8

The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is a meaningful, fun, and caring way to share the joy of Christmas by providing gifts for local families who need assistance.

Choose a tag, shop for the gifts listed, and then return the items (unwrapped) with the corresponding Angel Tag by Sunday, December 8 or deliver directly to Salvation Army by Wednesday, December 11.

The tags are meant as a guide for the shopper, in order to know the first name, age, and gender of the child along with his/her clothing sizes and type of toy he/she might enjoy. You are free to purchase as your heart and budget lead you. We do suggest a minimum of 2 toys and 2 clothing items.

If you do not want to choose and complete the items listed on a tag there are still ways that you can participate:

• Purchase clothing or toys of your choice and mark them for general use.  These items will be used to complete or supplement the Angel Tag children’s gift lists.
• Request a personal shopper if you want to choose a tag but do not feel comfortable doing the shopping.  Contact Janet Hitzeman (812-345-0882) if you want to participate in this way or if you have any other questions.
